- Uninstall VMware Agent
- Uninstall VMware Tools – reboot
- Install hotfixes, updates etc (convenience rollup on Windows 7 SP1) -reboot
- Install VMware tools (based on host VMware Tools Version) -reboot
- Install VMware Agent -reboot
- shutdown and snap and rollout image
